KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary - (Role Summary)
Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, debugging and documenting ETL code. Provide technical expertise and direction in developing and supporting system level programs. Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. Ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities)
● Covert Business requirements into Technical design
● Develop ETL code for use in a multi-platform environment. Design, code, unit test and implement complex business rules.
● Develop and support appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards.
● Plan, schedule and conduct decision support system tests; monitor test results and take required corrective action.
● Interface with customers and analysts to determine requirements.
● Aid in systems development planning, code performance, support and monitoring.
● Provide reports on project development status to software engineering management on a regular and timely basis.
● Provide technical consultation in new systems development and enhancement of existing systems; participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews.
● Lead onshore and offshore team through the life cycle of the project.

Band Level: 6
Salary range: Base plus potential bonus<br><br> QUALIFICATIONS

Education -
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

Experience -
8+ years progressive work related experience in systems development and programming with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position. Typically leads/mentors less experienced staff or complex projects in area of expertise.

Technical Skills and Knowledge -
● Demonstrated knowledge of related software architectures and development methodologies.
● Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques.
● Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with performance tuning.
● Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the software engineering team's knowledge of the customers' business needs.
● Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
● Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
● Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

Specialized Technical Skills - (development experience in one or more disciplines required)
● Demonstrated knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL tool, RDBMS and/or multi-dimensional database
● Demonstrated proficiency of Informatica, Oracle, Teradata Linux / UNIX and Workload automation tools.

Decision making responsibilities (Key Decision Rights) :
● This position has a significant impact to deliver assigned IT development projects.
● This position has a moderate impact on project costs, schedule and quality levels of IT development projects.
● Decisions or recommendations, or failure to complete projects could result in delays with considerable expenditure of time, human resources or funds.

CONTACTS (Key Relationships)

Internal Key Relationships -
● This position will work closely with client management, IT development teams, support teams, data center resources, IT management to discuss projects, provide recommendations on improvement opportunities and operating and financial performance. Provide technical direction and training to more junior level software engineers.

External Key Relationships -
Frequent interaction with software/hardware security vendors to consult on new products and discuss/resolve technical problems. Develops relationships with professional organizations, user groups, and security staff at other companies to keep abreast of new trends in corporate and departmental information security.
