The Front Office Manager will provide guest services, direct and lead the Front Office, which encompasses the Front Desk, Guest Relations, Guest History, Horizon Club, Concierge, Transportation, Service Centre.

In responsible to ensure the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the departments under his/her purview in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts and the Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai.

Meets up with guests regularly to obtain feedback on ways to improve the Hotel’s services and facilities.

Handles guest complaints promptly and efficiently, in the best interest of the Hotel.

Motivates and ensures staff perform to the service level required, maximizing total customer loyalty as well as positive overall stay experience.

Provides training on standards and procedures for the Front Office Department.

Conducts frequent employee dialogue & department meetings so as to ensure employee loyalty is high, employees are satisfied and committed.

Supports and is actively involved in the Fire & Life Safety, Security and Preventive Maintenance Program.
