2017 marks the opening of the first Grand Hyatt in the Philippines at the Bonicafio Global City that will bring to life a radical transformation and perspective on what entertaining and hospitality is all about. As we build a vibrant, passionate and fun-loving team, we are seeking a well-experienced Front Office Manager- Residences who will oversee the day to day front office operations of the Grand Hyatt Residences.

This role is ideal for someone who is excellent in handling guest interactions and finds satisfaction in providing care to colleagues and guests. Your team will be the first point of contact for guests and Grand Hyatt residences and your role is to ensure that all team members are able to deliver exceptional service that is truly extraordinary.

As a pre-opening team member, you will be involved in preparing the Grand Hyatt Residences for a successful opening. You will be involved in the creation of the Rooms Operations Manual and in establishing the policies and procedures within your scope and be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in fulfilling the Grand Hyatt promise of delivering moments of more. Specifically, you will ensure that there are no facility issues in the complex. He or she will be required to complete room inventory checks and safety checks on a regular basis. You must be attentive to resident safety and complex security, as well as ensure residents follow the hotel and housing policies to maintain a respectful environment. You will educate residents on their actions and decisions while informing them about how their actions impact an entire community. You will be the primary responder to emergencies within the complex during the work day, and residents are directed to Public Safety during evenings and weekends. You will be required to complete weekly reports and other department paperwork, as well as assist with check-ins and check-outs of residents.

To be successful in this role, you will have a progressive career in a five star luxury hotel or luxury residences with specialization in Rooms and savvy in the use of Opera and other rooms systems and tools. You have a well-developed communication skills and demonstrated skills in handling challenging situations. You are well versed in the local area and able to manage a team of local associates.


Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality major or related field
Communication Skills: Proficient in communicating in the English Language, ability to speak a foreign language desired. Ability to handle challenging situations and able to communicate with confidence, respect and humility.
Work Experience: Progressive experience in Rooms gained over the last 7 years in a 5 star luxury property or luxury residences, 2 years of which would have been spent as a Residences Property Manager or Front Office Manager- Residences . Well versed in the local area and able to relate to various cultures and groups.
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated skills in leading a diverse team with varying degrees of experience and talents Able to teach and inspire team members to be their best everyday.
