Officially opening early 2017, internationally-acclaimed Chef Martha Ortiz will bring her celebrated Mexican gastronomy to London in a new restaurant located at InterContinental London Park Lane. Martha Ortiz, Chef Patron of Mexico City's award-winning Dulce Patria, heralded as one of Latin America's most exciting restaurants, states 'we will deliver the beauty, vibrancy, and spirit of Mexico to London in a total experience of the senses.' Martha's philosophy will be brought to life by David Collins Studio, the global interior architecture practice led by Creative Director Simon Rawlings. The restaurant will feature references to Mexican design and culture.

Located at No. 1 Park Lane, the restaurant will have one of London's most prestigious addresses.
Its exclusive entrance will be positioned where Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, and Piccadilly all converge. Martha's new restaurant will join Theo Randall at the InterContinental, bringing two renowned Chefs under one roof and creating one of London's most sought-after culinary destinations.

We are currently recruiting for a Head Waiter for the new concept.
The Head Waiter assists the manager to cover all meal periods in the ground floor space and is responsible for the delivery of service standards, maintaining quality equipment, par levels, product presentation, service and product training and may be asked to support other operational areas as business requires.

A vital aspect of the role of Head Waiter is to lead, create and support the Food & Beverage platform, building enthusiasm and passion amongst all team members. As part of the strategy the Head Waiter will be recognised as the culinary knowledge exchange hub for guests and team members alike.

•Strong knowledge of Mexican food products and dishes and the preparation methods, wines and other beverages
•Strong supervisory, organisational and communication skills with team leader/ head server experience is essential; in international 5 star environments and with a strong training background is desirable
•Candidates must have excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Additional languages a plus
•Must have the drive and passion to succeed at the highest level
•All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including weekends and bank holidays
•Candidates should have previous hotel experience and be familiar with Micros Systems
