We currently have a vacancy for a Cost Controller to join our Finance team.

The Role

Under the guidance of the Financial Controller, the Cost Controller is responsible for ensuring that the Food and Beverage costs are monitored and that stock levels are maintained in line with the Shangri-la guidelines. She/he will produce accurate analysis and reports in order to ensure that the most cost effective measures are implemented to drive success. The successful candidate will be required to present the data to the Executive Team on a monthly basis.

The Cost Controller will perform his/her duties in a way that upholds our Core Values of humility, courtesy, respect, helpfulness and sincerity.

Essential Requirements

•Previous experience as a Cost Controller within the hospitality industry
•Advance Excel knowledge
•Outstanding organisational skills
•Confident, efficient and professional with exemplary administrative and organisational skills and time management
•Excellent level of English (both oral and written)
•Creative thinking
Desirable Requirements

•Pre-opening experience
•Relevant experience in a five star hotel
•Expertise in managing databases
