As we build a vibrant, passionate and fun-loving team, we are seeking a well-experienced Front Office Manager who will oversee the day to day operations of the Front Office, Grand Club, Guest Service Centre, Bell and Concierge.

Grand Hyatt Manila will feature 461 luxurious and suites, an entertainment complex, state of the art events spaces and an array of F&B options that provide an abundance of culinary delights, and a Fitness center and Spa.

This role is ideal for someone who is excellent in handling guest interactions and finds satisfaction in providing care to colleagues and guests. Your team will be the first point of contact for guests and your role is to ensure that all team members deliver an unmatched level of service that is uniquely Grand Hyatt .

As a pre-opening team member, you will be involved in preparing the hotel for a successful opening. You will be involved in the creation of the Rooms Operations Manual and in establishing the policies and procedures within your scope and be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in fulfilling the Grand Hyatt promise of delivering moments of more. Specifically, you will be responsible managing all Front Office operations including guest arrival and departure, room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, room profitability. You will also monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly. You will be involved in monitoring service and develop team member performance, provide supervision, manage rosters. You will ensure that team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field

Communication Skills : Proficient in communicating in the English Language, ability to speak a foreign language desired. Ability to handle challenging situations and able to communicate with confidence, respect and humility.

Professional Experience in Hospitality : Progressive experience in Rooms gained over the last 7 years in a 5 star luxury property, 2 years of which would have been spent as a Front Office Manager . Well versed in the local area and able to relate to various cultures and groups.

Leadership Experience: Demonstrated skills in leading a diverse team with varying degrees of experience and talents Able to teach and inspire team members to be their best everyday.
