The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the hotel's marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, e-commerce, social media, graphics and collateral, so as to support the overall vision and objectives for the hotel. Some key elements of the role include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring the Marketing Communications activities are aligned with not only the hotel's vision, but agree with the corporate marketing strategy.
Acting as brand guardian and ensuring all hotel branding and collateral are of a consistent high standards and comply with Hyatt Regency brand standards, or other agreed design.
In collaboration with the UK Digital Marketing Manager you will continue to develop and manage the hotel's library of photography, videos and graphics, manage the updating of Hyatt.com and third party website content. Design and oversee the 12 month strategy and calendar for social media sites and report on results.
Closely working with the Revenue Manager to maximise use of targeted market information, including customer profiles, behaviour and yield for the planning and evaluation of marketing communications.
Maintaining an analysis of the hotel's key competitors marketing communications activities.
Being aware of and communicate any community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel's strategies.
To create and manage the hotel's 12 month communication and PR strategy.
Manage the hotel's relationship with the PR Agency.
Manage VIP/Media Reservations and key events throughout the year.

You will be responsible for a Marketing Communications Executive and report into the Area Director of Sales & Marketing for the UK & Ireland.

Qualifications
With a solid background of marketing communications, you will ideally have experience in a similar role, although it's not necessary to have experience in a hotel environment. You will be an effective influencer, with natural interpersonal skills. You will feel comfortable communicating at all levels of the business and have excellent written and verbal communication.
