The role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide support for all business reporting and analytical needs for Hospitality including Owner Services and Club Management. This includes designing, maintaining and implementing processes to gather and analyze data to provide value-added insights to the operation. In addition, this position is responsible for managing and implementing various business projects as well as making presentations to executive leadership. This role includes client management responsibilities and managing the prioritization and execution of multiple requests. The role requires a variety of data management skillsets and financial and statistical understanding. Additional business support includes database and system support and management of processes to support multiple business products and groups. This position also interacts closely with IT partners to develop solutions to promote efficiency within the call centers which can include writing business requirements or serving as the SME for various IT projects. Essential Job Functions 1. Develop and issue analysis and recommendations for operational improvement opportunities for Hospitality including Owner Services and Club Management. (15%) 2. Support Owner Services and Club Management operational reporting needs by developing databases, utilizing tools (SAS, Access, SQL) and managing data from a variety of sources to efficiently meet the needs of the organization. This includes working with IT on projects of varying size/scope to help build the correct business rules and infrastructure for ongoing operational support. (10%) 3. Analyze, develop, model and communicate key metrics and create incentive/recognition plans for agents, supervisors and program participants that drive business results and key metric improvements. This includes the complete ongoing maintenance and execution of such programs including payroll submission and oversight. (30%) 4. Review, model, and prepare senior management recommendations regarding proposed business opportunities to ensure operational efficiency and stated objectives are tracked and key trends are highlighted to influence the decision-making process. (20%) 5. Formal supervisory responsibilities, including performance reviews, creating development plans, issuing corrective actions, and participating in Hiring decisions. And informal responsibilities such as providing support and partnering with more junior analysts to drive project outcomes. (25%)
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications a) Education a. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or other closely related field required. b) Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates) a. SAS experience or training strongly preferred c) Knowledge and skills (e.g. demonstrated ability to work under pressure, or possesses good written and oral communication skills) a. Self starter who will source data and recommend conclusions b. Excellent strategic, analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment c. Strong communication and interpersonal skills d. Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects while incorporating work style with team objectives e. Must be well-organized and able to perform under stressful situations f. Must be able to communicate and partner effectively with all levels of the organization g. Must be decision-minded, capable of providing senior management clear paths to optimal results desired d) Technical Skills a. Heavy Excel and Access knowledge required b. Strong data management and analytical skills c. Strong financial and statistical understanding e) Job experience (number of years, type/level of previous experience) a. 3+ years' experience in an Analytics/Customer Insight role b. 3+ years of using data manipulation and reporting tools such as SAS, SPSS, SQL, Oracle SQL *Plus, SQL Navigator Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
