Duties and Responsibilities

Financial R e turn s :
· Generate and review the revenue numbers in Daily Revenue Report from People Soft, and send out the report in timely manner.
· Prepare daily income audit pack.
· Complete the Daily Income Audit Checklist.
· Generate reports and reconcile revenues on a daily basis, between PMS and other integrated systems.
· Ensure all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges. All rebate credits processed must be in accordance with the Finance Policies.
· Witness daily cash count.
· Ascertain that all charges received for billing are proper and with complete supporting documents and approved credit account with the Hotel.
· Ensure timely and accurate billing.
· Assist in preparation of correspondence in reference to disputes.
· Assist in calculation of travel agent commission for accruals.
· Ensure all controls are in compliance with internal/external audit requirements.
· Ensure CSA controls are implemented.

People:
· Work with relevant team members to ensure compliance in finance policies and procedures.

· Anticipate guests' needs, handle enquires and solve problems.

Responsible Business:
· Support the hotel's corporate responsibility initiatives in the areas of community involvement, environment management, workplace health & safety and food safety, drive action plans as required to achieve hotel corporate responsibility objectives.
· To achieve minimum 90% in CSA for AR and Revenue sections.

Performs any other duties as required by management.

ACCOUNTABILITY

This role has the key responsibility for the accounts receivables and income audit functions in the hotel. Reporting directly to the Express Assistant Manager this role also works closely with the shared services model to ensure all revenues are recorded and reported on a daily basis and all control procedures are in place relating to the income and accounts receivables processes.<br><br> QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

D iplo m a in Finance or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of experience in the service industry. Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
