Key responsibilities:
 

•Participates in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the Altitude Kitchen.
•Prepares and ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney standards and procedures.
• Participates in the creation of new menus and dishes

•Participates in the creation of new menus and dishes.
•Assists in maintaining the kitchen and other related areas in highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
•Ensures the proper rotation and utilisation of all items in the kitchen and stores.
•Assists in controlling the food cost by minimising spoilage and wastage.  
 
 
 
 
 
Requirements:
 

• Must have full time work rights in Australia (Student visa will not be considered)
•Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery
•Excellent communication skills in reading and writing english
•Experience in Hotel environment
•Fine dining experience desired however not essential
