To support the Logistics Manager and is responsible for handling the processes involved in a supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers to ensure the customer satisfaction.

Main duties and responsibilities
 Handle processes involved in supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers.
 Manage the stock control, warehousing, and insuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of the goods and materials.
 Mentoring the quality and the quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
 Define the Escalation point for problems and queries
 Maintains awareness of customs regulations and requirements
 Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information system
 Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvement.
 Liaising and negotiating with customers and supplies
 Following the out dating items with the suppliers and ensure the items is received.
 Making the FF&E list budget for the next year with three quotations.
 Keeping record file for the supplies list with their quotations
 Report to logistic manager and updating him daily.
General responsibilities:

 Report to work on time. Personal appearance must comply with the standard of the hotel.

 Report any unusual occurrences to his superior.

 At all times strive to represent Hotel in the most professional, courteous manner. All behaviors comply with the Code of Conduct & Rules of Behavior outlined in associates Hand Book.

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 Be able to work accordingly to budget as well control costs as much as you can.

 Be able to perform any additional scope of duties if requested by the Management.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, Economics or other related field or Degree/Diploma in logistics management from reputed university or Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.

IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years exposure in the same field in any three stars and above hotel industry and beginning in another area of the supply chain, such as retail management or purchasing experience.

Ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management
Must possess Analytical Skills, attention to details and accuracy.

Must have knowledge of Management of Material Resources, Production and logistics process.

Flexibility and the ability to manage change

Must have knowledge of office administration and procedures

Must have knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
