To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu.
To conduct daily pre-shift briefings to employees on preparation, service and menu.
To assign responsibilities to front line staff and to check their performance periodically.
To liaise with the Kitchen department on a daily basis, regarding the operation and quality control.
To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards.
To assist in conducting monthly and bi-annual inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.

Qualifications


Excellent food and beverage service skills
Current NSW RSA Competency card
Experience in the Hotel, Restaurant or Travel industry
Qualification in Food and Beverage Service training; preferably Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management
