Director, Luxury Hotel Marketing
Responsible for executing traditional communications campaigns in the Middle East Region, leveraging advertising, promotions, lifestyle events and brand collateral roll-outs. Works with the Luxury division team, brand and agency of record to plan and execute external communication efforts in line with the positioning of AccorHotels luxury (Luxe) brands - Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery. Pullman, Swissotel, Grand Mercure. Modifies and adapts centrally developed campaigns to increase their effectiveness in the Region for all brands. Supports operating hotels in executing and utilizing advertising and marketing collateral as well as pre-opening hotel teams with strategic market positioning support. Coordinates activities with the digital marketing director and public relations team to ensure maximum results.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Middle East and Senior Vice President, Operations, Luxury Brands, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Works with Luxe Sales & Marketing team to develop Marketing Communication plans for the AccorHotels Luxury brands within their Region
• Ensure alignment on key initiatives with regional network of hotels
• Initiate and execute initiatives cofounded with the hotels on an opt-in model basis
• Develops and executes media plans and tailored campaigns
• Guides and counsels pre-opening hotel team on a variety of marketing tacticals, including collateral roll-outs, hotel identity/logo development, marketing and advertising strategy and planning
• Reinforces and audits brand standards for collateral and develops regionally appropriate executions for collateral, in-room and property sales materials, food & beverage, etc.
• Aligns marketing communication tools to deliver reservations and revenue efficiently and effectively via a return on investment tracking
• Actively collaborates with digital marketing director and public relations team to ensure that all consumer tacticals are synergized with the various communications divisions
Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of travel industry marketing and advertising experience
• Professional English written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills required
• Knowledge of strategic and tactical planning for marketing and advertising, suppliers and communications methods and media
• Familiarity with all lodging/hotel business segments and sources
• General 360 degree understanding of digital marketing from distribution, search, eCRM to display, social and mobile
• Experience/knowledge of advertising agency management and compensation
• Four year degree from an accredited university in Business, Hospitality, Advertising or a related field
• Pre-opening hotel marketing experience is an asset
