Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition in Orlando, FL. This individual will oversee all Leadership Recruiting in our Sales & Marketing and Strategy & Integration divisions. This individual will be responsible for strategy development and execution of senior level search assignments to identify, attract and engage top-performing professionals in response to current and forecasted openings, including succession planning and market scans. The Director of Talent Acquisition will also be heavily involved in long-term WVO Talent Acquisition strategy development and execution including a lead role in driving multi-year process, technology, and change management initiatives. This is a highly visible role positioned to make an immediate impact in creating a world-class Talent Acquisition function at Wyndham Vacation Ownership.

Key area of focus:

- Executive Recruiting

- Manages full life-cycle recruitment including setting search strategy, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding processes
- Open requisition load of 5-15 concurrent openings is typical (depending on position complexity and current business needs)
- Provides a differentiated "executive search" recruiting experience for internal clients and candidates
- Contributes to the development and execution of strategies with the goal of branding WVO as the employer of choice in the Vacation Ownership industry
- Makes recommendations to utilize recruiting vendors and primary management of those vendors through the search process
- Proactively develops a robust external Leadership talent pipeline in the Vacation Ownership industry and other key functional areas

- Strategic Partnership and Consulting

- Collaborates with internal partners such as Human Resources, Compensation, Field Recruiting and Enterprise-wide Staffing peers
- Daily interaction with senior leadership internal clients and partners
- Conducts talent market trend analysis regarding competitors and market changes
- Develops creative and cutting-edge forums for Company executives to be exposed to industry talent
- Works closely with Leadership Development organization to create and engage internal Leadership talent pipelines

- Leadership Effectiveness

- Leads and develops a small team of Recruiters
- Identifies operational effectiveness and efficiency opportunities and provides impactful solutions for continuous improvement

- Project Management and Operational Effectiveness

- Analyzes leadership-level hiring trends and makes appropriate process, policy, strategy recommendations
- Ensures robust candidate assessment and selection processes and systems are in place to deliver high quality, scalable Leadership hires
- Works closely with the Vice President of Talent Acquisition to execute the long-term strategic vision for WVO Talent Acquisition to include recruiting processes, workforce planning, employment brand/marketing, vendor management, and recruitment technology strategies
- Provides oversight on key Talent Acquisition priorities


- 7+ years of relevant senior or executive search experience with demonstrated success in managing a full-cycle search process; or, 7+ years recruiting leadership experience with demonstrated success in executing enterprise-wide recruiting strategies
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field is preferred
- Prior experience working in an executive search firm coupled with corporate experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing functions
- Superior business acumen, executive presence, project management and presentation skills
- Consultative, solutions focus and high level of comfort working in an environment which demands strong deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to interact and influence senior level candidates and internal clients
- History of quickly gaining credibility with key stake holders
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong ability to consistently prioritize and reprioritize
- Expert name generation, networking and relationship building skills
- Experience with sophisticated compensation negotiations
- Demonstrated experience in behavioral based interviewing techniques and understanding of employment laws related to hiring
- Successful utilization and ability to recommend appropriate search partner/vendor solutions such as retained search, research and development, contingency search, name generation vendors
- Experience working with an applicant tracking system, Taleo preferred
- AIRS Certified preferred
