Summary
The Project Coordinator/Design Librarian supports the Design team to maintain the services required for smooth operation of renovation projects, resort operations, and the Resort Renovation & Design Department. This position is responsible for keeping the Design Library organized and up to date and acts as the main contact for outside design representatives. Through the Project Coordinator/Design Librarian's support, the Design team is able to mitigate owner/guest impact while delivering exceptional product enhancements at WVO resort locations.

1.

Responsible for the organization of the Design Library and scheduling outside vendor meetings for the Design Team. Research and remain current on design trends and new products.

Assist the Design Team with any re-selections for requisition requests for resorts: this includes researching products, obtaining pricing, lead times and creating specifications for approval

Support the Design Team by assisting with preparations for formal design presentations: order samples, fabricate color and material boards and digital elements.

Assist Interior Designers with installation documents and writing specifications.

Support Interior Designers by selecting preliminary color and materials, pricing and writing specifications.

Provide Count-on-Me customer service while fielding miscellaneous phone calls and emails from vendors, contractors, resorts, and internal departments. Performing other duties as required.

- Participate in corporate functions and activities as needed.

- Assist in facilitation of associate functions in the corporate offices on an as needed basis

Scope/Financial Responsibility
The scope of the Project Coordinator/Design Librarian's responsibility covers the following:


- This position is responsible for executing small reserve purchases and screening unbudgeted requests submitted by resort operations, potentially impacting WRDC managed associations and WVO financial results.

Travel Requirements

This position is based in Redmond and requires m inimal off-site travel; usually 3-5 business days per year for department retreats or job specific training .

- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Working knowledge or the ability to learn industry standard software including, but not limited to AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-up.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

- AA Degree in Interior Design is preferred. Interior Design or Architecture degree from a 4-year accredited college is a plus.

- Hospitality/Hotel design background is desired

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.


Complexity


- Level of decision making authority (nature and scope of decision-making, extent to which independent action is taken) - The Project Coordinator/Design Librarian is in a position to make one-to-one contact with individual resort personnel via e-mail or phone regarding relevant information that is needed based on established timelines and developing critical details necessary for design development. This candidate will also be required to proactively contact internal and external resources to deliver the product on time and within budget.


- Level of autonomy (supervision received) - All design decisions to be reviewed and approved by the Interior Designers and Director of Design. The Project Coordinator/Design Librarian will meet daily with the Interior Designers and bi-weekly with the Design Director for status updates on projects.


- What, if any, are the supervisory responsibilities? Including titles that report into the position, approximate number of direct and indirect reports . This position does not supervise any other positions.
