Due to significant growth Wyndham Hotel Group is searching for the newly created role of Director of Finance to oversee our Hotel Group finance operations across South East Asia from our Singapore head office!

About the role...

Seeking a talented hospitality experienced senior Finance professional to oversee and support the financial operations of South East Asia facilitate accurate and timely forecasts, budgets, collate and oversee weekly and monthly actual financial performance information, and assist with financial feasibility and pre-opening for hotels.

Reporting to the regional CFO this position will also be responsible to support & model strong but fiscally responsible growth in the region.

Key responsibilities..


- Support Business Development with robust and reliable financial modelling for new business opportunities
- Co-ordinate financial aspects of pre-opening for new managed hotels (budgets, financial implementation)
- Co-ordination, support/compilation and analysis of regional budgets
- Weekly and monthly review of financial and operational performance
- Monthly forecasting reviews and regional roll-up
- Where required locally, assist with managing tax requirements across the region in conjunction with WHG Corporate Finance team in and Wyndham Worldwide Tax Department in New Jersey
- Post implementation financial reviews
- Oversee regions capex requests
- Display a Count On Me! service to all internal and external parties

Qualifications

Who and what are we looking for?


- Hospitality experience within the finance function, both at a hotel and multi property group level is a requirement
- Experience within both managed and franchised hotel environment
- Ability to be hands on and highly driven and committed to delivering results
- Fluently multilingual in English and another Asian language is highly advantage
- Multi country experience across Asia
- CA / CPA qualified or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Analytical focus
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Demonstrated empathy and the ability to build upon other people's ideas
- Proven ability to implement alternative methods to achieve goals in the face of obstacles
- Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines without compromising quality
