Job Synopsis:

As a E-Distribution/ Revenue Executive you are responsible to support the Reservation Manager to help meet the electronic distribution strategies of the hotels in the area by extracting, compiling and running monthly reports; coordinating and updating of hotel information for new openings or existing hotels, including rate and content as applicable, and check for rate and content availability across all channels including the brand website.

General Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1.1 Run the rate and availability parity report on a daily basis using the RateVIEW reporting tool from TravelClick.
1.2 Assist in setting up descriptions, images, and availability across all OTAs and other approved channels as applicable.
1.3 Access the GDS/CRS/TPI regularly and ensure that these reservations are entered into the system by Reservation Agents.
1.4 Monitor descriptions and images on all contracted channels; ensure they are accurate and are in line with the correct brand tone for Rotana; update hotel content as needed on all approved electronic channels.
1.5 Ensure quality audit is run on all bookings made through all Electronic channels and to ensure that all aspects in regards to Market Codes, Source Codes and Origin Codes are correctly entered in PMS.
1.6 Ensure payment for all reservations made through all Electronic Channels are secured and guaranteed as per policy.
1.7 Assist in checking if all Commission claims for OTAs and other Electonic Channels are done as per policy.
1.8 Extract monthly channel and individual OTA production from OPERA for each hoteland enter data into the required format.
1.9 Maintains established filing systems of all correspondence
1.10 Answers complaints regarding reservation and refer any problems to the immediate Manager on duty.
1.11 Answers inquire and / or promote hotel services and facilities. Answer questions on the rates, promotions and room type’s availability.
1.12 Put traces into reservations that require follow up. E.g. payment, visa, special request and rate discrepancy.
1.13 Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate Superior or Management.
1.14 Complies with hotel health, safety and hygiene policy.

2. General Responsibilities

3. Occasional Responsibilities

3.1 To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
3.2 To pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
3.3 To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
3.4 To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
3.5 To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.

4. Legal Responsibilities

4.1 To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
