The Role:
The Applications Systems Manager provides complete guidance and support on the functionality of the business systems and consistency in the management of system related processes aimed at driving profitability for the business. Through accurate data management you will enable business stakeholders to effectively and accurately plan and analyse business performance and ensures continuous improvements in processes related to systems to enable the needs of the business to be met.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

•Results-oriented Operations/Support manager with experience in multi-cultural and global environments
•Hands-on experience in 24X7 Production support for enterprise retail systems - Point of Sale with Micros & myMicros
•PoS Implementations, customization and roll-out using Micros (preferred) for restaurants/casual dining businesses. Alternate PoS solution experience will also be considered.
•Service Delivery - Hands-on experience in leading support teams in providing outstanding service using ITIL standard process around Incident/Change/Problem
•Service Management - Good communication skills, Analytical & Problem solving skills to analyze trends & use Lean tools (Root Cause/Pareto etc) to drive service improvement
•Strong knowledge in Oracle 10G or above with debugging skills in SQL, PL/ SQL procedures and packages
•Basic knowledge of interfaces designs, ETL and business logic with other internal applications Qualifications & Requirements:
You wil have:

•B.Tech/Graduate in Engineering or Science. Additional business degree is a definite plus.
•Service delivery, application support, DevOps, change/enhancement life-cycle
•8+ years' experience in management, information technology, retail domain or service industry
•Technical or specific skills eg - PoS products (preferably Micros) , SQL , Windows, Linux, Acess and MS Office
•Familiarity with Point of Sale, Stores based and enterprise systems support (retail domain preferred)
•Service Delivery Orientation, Mindset & Ethos
•Sound communication skills
•Flexibility around working in shifts or extended support to meet business needs.
