Customer Service
§ Ensures the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.
§ Be familiar with the hotel's products, services and policies.
§ Ensures positive interaction and brand contact with guest and colleagues.
§ Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
§ Provides excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
Operational § Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented as and when directed.
§ Embraces all Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20.
§ Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
§ Preparing mis-en-place as instructed by the immediate supervisor. For e.g washing, peeling and cutting of vegetables and fruits, cleaning and cutting of meats, poultry, and seafood, preparing of soups and sauces, weighing and measuring designated ingredients.
§ Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
§ Stores foods in designated areas.
§ Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils, segregates and removes garbage.
§ Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
§ Carves various cooked meats.
§ Assists in quality control of items.
§ To produce a consistent and high quality product.
§ Sets up buffet presentations.
§ To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept hygienic, clean and organized at all times.
§ To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
§ Should be able to handle interactive live station as per Hyatt standard.
§ Works closely with colleagues and other departments in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
§ Demonstrates enthusiasm and act on own initiative and take responsibility for one's own work and for the safety of others.
§ Manage time effectively and shows punctuality, completes all tasks on time, structures work activities in a systematic way.
§ Demonstrates detailed job knowledge, manual ability and technical expertise in his current role.
§ Maintains stable performance under pressure and in stressful work situations.
§ Ensures professional, high quality work standards are met.
§ Adhere to the relevant task list for the current position

Other Duties

§ Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming as per hotel grooming policy.
§ Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel and Hyatt International.
