PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
• To supervise the daily operations of the front office.
• To provide supervision to junior associates.
• To take part in setting up long term and medium term objectives relating to front office, and assisting in defining policies, systems and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To manage and supervise day-to-day front office operations and communicate all relevant and important matters to Front Office Manager.
• Coordination with Concierge Team & Reservations
• Receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, satisfying guest expectations from arrival through to departure.
• Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain good working relationship with all Front Office employees with particular emphasis on Guest Service Agents and Guest Relations
• Supervise all Front Desk associates ensuring guests are taken care of in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of hotel and local services and supply information and respond to guest queries.
• Deal swiftly, efficiently and sensitively to guest complaints and follows through.
• To monitors the work schedule for the respective team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
• School Certificate or its equivalent.
Specific Experience:
• With at least 1 year experience in similar role preferably in the hotel industry.
Communication Skills:
• Fluent in English. Foreign language skills such as Arabic, French, German of advantage.
• Highly effective written and oral communications skills.
CORE COMPETENCIES
• Good knowledge of computer applications like MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• PMS Opera knowledge of advantage.
• Excellent telephone manners.
• Demonstrating a ‘can do ‘ attitude at all times
• Experience/Knowledge in training and leading team members
