The Phoenicia Intercontinental with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 6 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon is looking to recruit an Executive Pastry Chef .

As Executive Pastry Chef you will manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Pastry operation, maintain hygienic standards and practices, staff training, communicate objectives, and assign/schedule work. Ensure a smooth operation of the section depending on the Hotel & Outlet's needs. You will also be responsible for developing and recommending regularly new items to be aligned with market needs. You will oversee and participate in the preparation of, check and approve all food items prepared in the section as well as regularly inspecting the quality and quantity of goods for the buffets and for all outside orders.<br><br> Qualifications

A pro-active team player and strategic thinker who is able to lead a team, develop and enhance their capabilities, develop strong working relationships and is able to think outside of the box delivering an innovative approach to the Department


• Bachelor Degree
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as Executive Pastry Chef
•Knowledge of HACCP is a must
•English is a must; French is a plus
•Ability to lead a team of mixed nationalities
• Knowledge in Micros and Opera
