ANA InterContinental Tokyo is one of the largest hotels in Asia as well as one of the largest revenue generators within IHG worldwide. The hotel comprises of 844 rooms and suites, 26 banquet rooms, and 12 F&B outlets, and one of our restaurants has achieved a total of 2 Michelin stars consecutive for 6 years. The hotel is ideally located in the center of Tokyo, one of the biggest and the most exciting cities in Asia.

Our General Affairs Department has an opportunity for a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager. You will report directly to the Hotel Manager/ General Manager and be responsible for driving and achieving success in promoting the desired work culture around the IHG value and within the limits of the hotel's policy.

Some of your key responsabillities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead the Quality and Continuous Improvement process and culture within the hotel.
• Identify root causes of problem areas in conjunction with the relevant teams and then work on solutions and develop subsequent new or revised processes ensure that the problems are eliminated.
• Coordinate QEM (Standard Evaluation Audit) execution including following up on action plans • Prepare monthly reports to the Regional General Manager/Hotel Manager, reporting on the status of each project and achievements made, together with areas of concern.
• Conduct briefings on Quality and Continuous Improvement and results achieved to ensure that all colleagues are aware of IHG's quality philosophy and can participate effectively.
• Carry out any other tasks/duties as requested by the Hotel Manager /Regional General Manager / or designate.<br><br>Among other things, for this role, you are able to strive for constant improvements and take responsibility for achieving business results and persevere despite obstacles, evaluate and assimilate critical information when reaching conclusions and make logical, competent decisions and Inspire others to excel by clearly communicating business values and direction, recognizing good performance and providing managerial support.

Idealistically, you have a business written and spoken level in both English and Japanese, excel in MS Office and possess strong problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

Candidates with comprehensive hotel operational knowledge with a minimum of five (5) years in either a room or F&B capacity preferably with a large, luxury chain will be favorably considered.
