The Analyst, Distribution Operations will support the Revenue Management Operations & Distribution team to ensure that properties and brands adhere to rate, inventory, connectivity and distribution brand standards. The team member will assist in rate and inventory projects, Distribution and connectivity projects, CR installation and Direct Connect audits, revenue management technology enhancements and issues, and will be a member of the Revenue Management & Distribution team which acts as an escalation point for property and brand rate and inventory questions and issues.


Scope/Financial Responsibility

Though difficult to quantify, the position has a revenue impact as it relates to ensuring brand standards, revenue management policies, and best practices are adhered to. The aforementioned are designed to generate incremental revenues, customer loyalty, and increase brand awareness for properties while minimizing opportunity costs of not having adequate rates and inventory available for sale across various channels.

- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

- Must be effective in proactively handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary under the supervision of the Distribution Operations Team.

- Must have the ability to assimilate information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.

- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers.

- Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel.

- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.


- Four year degree in business administration, economics, IT, or related discipline preferred.

- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.

- Knowledge of Wyndham reservation and distribution systems strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of SynXis CR strongly preferred

- Hotel based Revenue Management experience strongly preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem solving ability; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid computer skills with proven proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Organizational Relationships

This position is based in Gurgaon, India and will report directly to the Digital and Distribution Projects Manager, EMEA based in Hammersmith, London.
