Reporting into the Managing Director and based in Shaya's head office in Turkey, the Business Director - Starbucks, will be given a regional mandate to spearhead the and expansion and management of the Starbucks brands across Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan. He/she will oversee the brand's marketing communications, operations, branded solutions and field learning & training.

The role

•To develop and define the short/long-term business plan and objectives including the annual operating plan across Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
•To spearhead the strategic brand development and driving the growth of Starbucks brand across the three markets.
•To be fully accountable for the P&L delivery of the brand portfolio across the three markets.
•To be fully responsible of managing and overseeing the brand marketing and communication strategies.
•To review performance of the brand's objectives and standards across the markets.
•To lead the brand's operations team and ensure that best practices are shared and are rolled out in all key performance areas of operations.
•To ensure consistency of brand execution by making sure that all stores, employees and processes comply with set standards.
•To contributes to the Starbucks success by developing category/brand strategies in conjunction with the Starbucks Host Brand team.
The requirements

•20 years of experience as an operator in the retail/ FMCG sectors, ideally 5 years of which is in a senior leadership role.
•Bachelor's degree in business management or related studies.
•Demonstrate excellent marketing skills combined with the knowledge of latest marketing techniques, building marketing campaigns with both traditional and digital elements.
•Combination of very strong "hands-on" operational practice with robust people development skills.
•Multi-unit retail operator with strong experience in Turkey.
•Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation experience to senior executives.
