• Cooking and presentation as per the standardized recipes.
• Checking mis-en-place on quality and quantity.
• Maintain food logs and maintain quality and the quantity.
• Introduce new dishes to the menu in order to maintain the standards of the restaurant.
• Maintain discipline and grooming of staff.
• To Maintain Hygiene and sanitation.
• To portion control and reduce wastage.
• Storage of food and provisions correctly.
• Raw material quality check.
• Allot duties to commis.
• Report all maintenance to engineering and get it fixed as soon as possible to avoid disruptions to the operation in the kitchen.
• Develop and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Enabling and adherence of the principles and work practices detailed under HACCP System in the department. Food Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness,
Health, Storage etc as applicable to the area of your work place.
• To coordinate with F&B Service, Room Service, purchase and stores departments and all other departments.


Requirements:
1. Experience in 5 star property preferably in UAE.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a Japanese kitchen.
3. Must have experience in Teppanyaki & Sushi.
