- Maintains a familiarity of all spare parts to ensure they are neatly stacked in an orderly manner.
- Prepares purchase request and follows up with Materials Department to ensure timely receipt of materials ordered.
- Keep accurate records of all materials transactions through the computerized control system.
- Conducts inventory on a monthly basis with timely reporting to the accounting department.
- Communicates with Maintenance Managers, Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineers to establish and maintain par stock and re-order point levels for all consumable items.
- Maintains the storeroom in a clean and orderly fashion at all times.
- Makes sure that all documents related to the operation of the department are being kept up to date and that all records are correctly maintained and filed, including the applicable code compliance certificates and local authority inspection reports for the property and its systems.
- Assumes full responsibility for the preparation and timely submittal of all reports.
- Conducts regular departmental communications meetings and ensure that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
- Keeps accurate records and monitor closely all E ngineering budget expenditures.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
