KEY RESPONSIBILITIESJob SummaryUnder the general direction of the Front Office Manager or his / her delegate, and within the limits of established IHG and local Hotel policies and procedures, responsible for all Customer service activities such as but not limited to handling guest queries and Restaurant Reservations, Ticket Conformation and Reservation, and general tourist knowledge.
Your day to day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Keeps up stable customer service and customer relationships with all guests, suppliers and cooperation agents (theater, Limousine Company, airport agents…)• Knows and promotes loyalty programs of IHG Hotels.• Monitors Concierge colleagues to ensure Priority Members are known, repeated guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition.• Immediately handles all guests' needs and promptly follows up to ensure satisfaction.• Forwards all required information to Bell staff especially about arrivals, departures, VIP guests and groups.• Is familiar with all IHG Hotels to help guests reach any possible destination for an onward booking to another IHG Hotel.• Handles limousine transfers, theater and concert tickets, restaurant suggestions, reservations and confirmations for guests.• Is familiar with cultural programs and events going on in town and its surroundings.• Is familiar with all sightseeing points, monuments, museums and their opening times.• Is personally interested in the local restaurant scene and looks for good relationships with their owners.• Ensures guest messages are delivered within the appropriate time to guest rooms, and in evidence of deliveries is filed.• Provides all information pertaining to Hotel services and facilities, local places of interest, restaurants, and various other information likely to be of interest to the Hotel guests.• Participates in all activities of the concierge service desk such as guest mail, flight confirmation and messages.• Verifies the daily Airport pick up and drop off requests with the concierge team and ensures a proper coordination with the Taxi agency.• Supervises and manages the prompt delivery of all incoming mail and parcels belonging to guest.• Is familiar with all cultural and tourist events in the country and briefs the team on all new relevant issues and happenings.• Regularly checks concierge website to ensure information is up to date.• Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety• Performs related duties and other projects as assigned.
