Your day to day
Join us as a Credit Supervisor. You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. For this vital role, we're looking for someone who will be responsible to:Assist the Credit Manager in the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy and periodic reviews of existing customer, with the goal of optimizing the mix of hotel sales and bad debt losses. Assist the Credit Manager for clients' credit includes investigating and analyzing risks, approving credit for potential clients and continuing lines of credit for current clients. Working with other members of a financial team, this team also evaluates credit processing and approval, and makes changes to ensure the financial stability of the hotel. The duties and responsibilities includes, ensure adherence to the hotel's credit policy, Report directly to and communicate with the Credit Manager on all matters pertaining to credit and collection of guest and city ledger accounts, cooperate, coordinate and communicate with guests and other departments in any matters concerning issuance of credit, follow up outstanding accounts and assist with credit requirements, monitor the special billing arrangements for groups and conventions as required to ensure that postings are in line with customer requirements, review city ledger daily for correct postings of charges and take corrective action where necessary, monitor and pursue collection of overdue accounts, review bad debts listing monthly to prepare collectability analysis for monthly provision for doubtful debts, assists in control and collection of outstanding guest and city ledger accounts, assist in maintaining and preparing accurate and timely financial and operating information with emphasis on the Aged Trial Balance of Accounts Receivable, regular check on company billing folios and ensure proper billing instruction given to the guest, to check daily in house arrivals and high balance report and follow up with Front Office Manager for appropriate action, daily follow ups with companies, ministries, and travel agencies regarding outstanding and payments.
