The Room Attendant is responsible to keep the hotel guest rooms and service areas clean and neat in accordance to the standards of Occidental IMPZ Dubai.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, specific duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Attends and participates in daily briefings/shift handovers to be fully informed of the hotel operations and activities.
Ensure to have an up-to-date knowledge of all arrivals, departures, VIP list, room status and ensure appropriate standards are applied.
Maintain furnishing, facilities and housekeeping equipment in the cleanest possible condition.
Maintain a neat and fully supplied cleaning trolley of relevant stock (linen, cleaning equipment, amenities) at all times.
Clean guest hotel rooms in accordance to operational policies and standards.
Replace used bed and bath linen daily.
Replenish room amenities, promotional materials, and stationary as required.
Clean public areas daily according to operational policies and standards.
Hand over any lost and found items to the direct supervisor for correct handling.
Report any damaged or missing items to the director supervisor.
Attends to guest needs and requests politely and efficiently. Inform direct supervisor for assistance.
Comply with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
Perform any other tasks assigned.


Previous Housekeeping experience and/or vocational or training course preferred but not required
Good English communication skills
Guest focused, approachable and reliable
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, calm and courteous at all times
