We're looking for a  Director of Sales & Marketing  to drive the pre-opening commercial strategy for our very first luxury Kimpton in Bangkok, Thailand.

Your day to day
WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY BE DOING?  
  
You'll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests and are driven to achieve targets.    
Regarding the role, it's as the job title says really, you will be driving the pre-opening commercial strategy, selling and marketing our hotel, restaurant and bar in all the right markets, at the right time, to the right people.     
You will need to use your great communication skills and build strong relationships with our client base, and continually build this base through your sales and marketing strategy.   

What we need from you
HOW DO I WOW MY GUESTS?    
As a key leader within the hotel you are responsible for knowing your markets and all our guests, whether they are here to stay, for a meeting or a meal, or just a few drinks. You need to ensure you and your team provide the 'wow' factor to all of them when they enter the hotel.  You need to ensure they receive a heartfelt welcome and that everything is just right and exceeds their expectations. You need to work across the hotel teams to bring that personal touch to their stay.    
HOW DO I SHOW I GENUINELY CARE ABOUT MY COLLEAGUES ?    
Success comes from teamwork so you need to ensure you have the best team. You will recruit people that display the qualities you pride yourself in. They too will be passionate, driven, have great personalities.
 
Your team are your biggest and best asset so you need to look after them. You need to know them and understand them individually. You need to provide the development opportunities for them to excel in their role and their careers. You need to promote a positive work environment for all of them, as well as ensuring you've covered all the legal aspects.    
HOW DO I DRIVE FINANCIAL RETURNS FOR OUR OWNERS ?    
Our owners invest and trust in us and we keep them happy by providing positive returns on their investment and reputations.    
You will maximize the financial performance of the hotel, restaurant and bar though an aggressive sales and marketing strategy that is right for your environment and guests. 
You're responsible for everything Commercial from Revenue and Reservations to Hotel and R&B Sales and Marketing. You are also in a role that bridges both parts of the hotel, the hotel operations and the R&B area, so you'll use your great communication skills to ensure everything all runs smoothly.
