Job Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for all functions & activities related to Biological and the necessary CSR coordination with the departments of the resort and allied areas. Conducting educational tours and Educating our customers and staff on Biodiversity, Marine Life and Environmentally responsible behavior, conducting and preparing awareness material and educational programs for community and assist and help in snorkeling, and other activities if required.

Job Requirements


- To plan, develop and implement a program of environmental education services to be made available to all our guest and the local community in order to raise the awareness of biodiversity.
- To develop and provide a range of relevant resources and information for the management, to help raise their awareness of the importance of biodiversity and its integration into our activities.
- To plan, develop and implement a program of educational projects, public events, visits, talks and interpretive materials that contribute towards an increase in wider public awareness of biodiversity. Wherever possible to make such activities relevant to all ages and the wider community, such as local communities, school children etc…
- To run environment friendly tours through a program of events and activities.
- To organize and run a range of activities, both at the resort and in the field, that provides interpretation of the natural environment.
- Contributing to planning and policy development for sustainable management, including input in environmental impact assessments.
- Setting up evaluating and monitoring features of nature conservation interest in habitats and sites.
- Promoting the concept of sustainability to the staff and island communities.
- Preparing applications for funding and grants to be used for educational purposes for staff, community and in general.
- Being involved in some energy and waste-related issues.
- Contributing to environmental reports and processing data
- Assist in monitoring collating information and producing Environmental Report.
- Attend regular Green team meetings.
- Promote Dusit environmental policies with in the resorts.
- Help provide material for the company website.
