• Responsible for the day to day operations of the concerned department & ensure the smooth & efficient running of the same.
• Constantly review the working of the departments and suggest ways of improving them.
• Assist in the recruitment of staff & ensure proper training is imparted in co-
Ordination with the training manager.
• Maintain efficient, well presented, enthusiastic team who enjoy their work and care for the guest offering consistent standards of service with a professional sincere & friendly approach.
• Ensure that all MIS reports are accurately submitted to Executive Director’s Office.
• Prepare the budget for the departments.
• Ensure security procedures are maintained while handling cash and guest’s personal possessions in the safety deposit lockers.
• Attend to any aspects of guest dissatisfaction promptly.
• Ensure all performance reports are made by the concerned departmental heads as per the time frame given.
• Co-ordinate with all the departments of the hotel.
• Attend review meetings with VP, COO and Director.
• Report any health or safety hazards to VP and Area Head.
• Ensures achieving of the Budgets and achieve the GOP budgeted.
• In case of Company Managed Hotels, review meetings with the Owners and presentation of the monthly operating reviews.
• Ensure that all duties are carried out in line with the Hotel policy with high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene correct uniforms and name badges as outlined in the staff handbook.
• Carry out any other duties as and when directed by the superiors.
