Your day to day
As a Hotel Infrastructure Specialist you will design, develop, manage and run the IT infrastructure for our hotels, whilst documenting Best Practice, Standards and Policies around these products and technologies. You will also help train and support our wider IT manager community in the use of these tools and processes.
You will also support our 2X Growth by opening hotels, faster, better, and at a lower cost… We are looking for someone to bring us new infrastructure. security and networking capabilities into the team, the focus being the seamless and effortless opening of our new hotels across our region, which includes Europe, Russia and the CIS.
Other areas of involvement might be designing new platforms such as our Virtual Desktop environment, designing cloud solutions, and deploying Network Solutions in hotels - but your primary focus will be opening hotels, faster, quicker and at a lower cost to our owners.
You will deliver a secure compliant technology infrastructure bedrock including PCI-DSS and Security compliance.
Frequent travel will be required as part of the role throughout the region.

What we need from you
Ideally you will have several years' practical experience with a strong technical understanding of Infrastructure, Windows Systems, Firewalls and Network technology.  Whilst Hospitality experience would be preferable it is not an essential at this stage. 
What is essential however is:

•Strong Hospitality experience, including PMS, NHOPS and Infrastructure management in a retail, or hospitality sector.
•Experience of PowerShell programming experience or equivalent.
•Understanding of how to automate common infrastructure processes
•Strong Network knowledge such as Cisco, Cisco Meraki would be highly advantageous.
•Knowledge of DevOps tools (i.e. Chef, Puppet etc.)
•Microsoft Windows infrastructure including Active Directory.
•Strong communications/influence and engagement skills as building internal and key external relationships is critical to the success of this role.
•From a personal perspective, you will be driven by driving technical advancement to a wider audience through communicating at all levels with a vast variety of cultures and levels.
•You will be motivated by getting results through engaging with multiple stakeholders and using your analytical and problem-solving abilities to influence and guide.
