The Role:
As a Maintenance Shift Engineer and under the general direction of the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that routine maintenance is performed in order for the Hotels equipment to be operated with maximum efficiency to achieve customer and guest satisfaction, working within the company brand standards and policies.
This is a 40 Hour a week contract, Working 5/7 Days. 
Key Responsibilities:

•Perform all routine preventative maintenance in the hotel premises including the repair and maintain of guest room facilities, light facilities, furniture and equipment.
•Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms and external areas of the hotel
•Assist with the implementation of the hotels preventative maintenance system and repair log system
•Record daily service work, including maintaining individual replacement costs along with time/task labour hours cost.
•Carry out fire safety checks in line with hotel procedures
•Carry out and document regular inspections of plant and equipment in computerised system. - Explore and incorporate environmentally friendly initiatives.
•Efficient and effective use of recycling methods
What we need from you
Previous experience in a Hotel Maintenance Department is a bonus for this role, as well as

•General maintenance experience including painting, Electrics and Gas Experience
•Working at height
•Manual Handling/ Lifting
•Guest Interaction
•Microsoft Office experience
