The Room Division Director is in charge of 5 departments : Front Office, Guest Relation, Concierge, Housekeeping and Art Librairy, which represents 115 persons.


• Maintain complete knowledge of: all room types, prices , occupancy rate, events , procedures , forecast and budget

• Review departmental/divisional profits, payroll expenses, rooms' expenses, cost per occupied room, previous day's occupancy and room revenues

• Monitor and facilitate all Internal Defect Reports relating to the Rooms Division

• Prepare annual capital expenditures report

• Set, plan and direct the operations to achieve agreed goals of gross operating profit, C ompetitive RevPar Index, Guest Satisfaction objectives, LQA Brand Consistency and Employee Engagement survey

• Monitor and facilitate all Internal Defect Reports relating to the Rooms Division

• Assist with facilitation of all quality auditing processes

• Be present to personally welcome key guest and VIP

• Monitor quarterly performance evaluations for all managers

• Support and help to prepare and submit the weekly GM reports to RVP of Operations and Brand President

• Represent the Raffles Brand

• Lead by example in living the Raffles brand values and service culture as well as Code of Ethics


• Degree from School for Tourism & Hotel Management
• Minimum 5 years or more experience in the Rooms Division in a Five-Star Hotel with at least 3 years in a management capacity and previous guest relations training
• Bilingual in English
