Your day to day
Pair both of these halo resorts with the opportunity to work in a best employer recognised company and lead the Reservations operation for both Resorts, and you have a role where you can let your guest service and revenue capability shine, in double the sunshine! And the best part is, you'll lead and develop a team of eleven dynamic reservations and guest service professionals all from InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort on the Gold Coast. 
 
Reporting to the Cluster Director of Revenue, as the Reservations Manager you will lead the Reservations functions for both properties. From driving the guest experience and growing the teams' upselling capability, to yield management and monitoring the reservations operation to ensure optimal daily occupancy, this is a truly dynamic role.
Your day to day will also include;

•Actively contributing towards revenue generation through effective management of the reservations department and systems.
•Providing the Commercial Teams with current and accurate information on both the internal reservation situation and the external climate which the Resorts operate within.
•Working in partnership with the Rooms Division to control rooms inventory, including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and black out dates, develop and conduct rooms based marketing activities and track sales programs/promotions/advertising.
•Maximising channels through exemplar conversion and turnaround of Reservation enquiries.
•Maintaining inventory balance and rate parity across channels.
•Monitoring ADR and RevPAR and undertaking reporting for the business.
•Manage revenue systems in conjunction with the Revenue Management Team.
•Leadership and management of the Reservations Team.
What we need from you
As the ideal candidate you will have significant experience working as a leader within Front Office or Reservations in a large complex hotel with multiple revenue streams. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business operations and also have the ability to provide structure, process and an eye for detail to the Reservations function.
With a strong guest journey focus alongside a strength working with data, numbers, budgets and profit/loss concepts; you will be a leader, doer and change agent with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with key stakeholders. Strategic thinking and the ability to explore new ways of working to continue to drive the Resorts forward will also be highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with guests in a luxury environment and champion a brand will be a must.
In addition, you will need to hold work rights within Australia and be comfortable with an annual salary of $60,000 - $70,000 gross per year.
