Your day to day
You will be the face of the hotel for all Sales Conference& all Events that take place within the property. Along with pre-event sales & planning, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of each event, ensuring every Guest Experience is unique and exceeds their expectations. Job Specifics· Ensure the highest standards of Event Management are in place· Establish new and grow existing relationships with customers, conduct show rounds, ensure the setup of venues for sales team site visit requests· Maximize sales up-selling opportunities with cooperation of the F&B team, and where necessary think outside the box and drive change that adds value to the Guest Experience· Manage the selling strategy and availability of each event space· Ensure the Meeting & Events Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts· Management of all event related administration, including proofing of Event orders, undertaking weekly Event meetings with Hotel Operations, and ensuring billing process is in line with company credit policy· Support the hotel as required and according to the business needs

Excellent organizational and planning skills along with flexibility to manage a multitude of working environments and situations· Excellent communication skills and able to develop positive working relationships at all levels· Excellent personal presentation and natural flair for sales and customer service· You enjoy the good things in life, and are interested in the International Luxury travel market· Self-starter, capable of handling yourself in a room of strangers to fly the flag for the hotel
