IHG are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join Our Cluster Human Resources Department in London.

As Human Resources Advisor, you will be working closely with the Human Resources Manager, General Managers and Key Heads of Departments to drive culture, engagement and best practices in accordance to the companies HR policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will provide a professional and caring Human Resources service to all management and staff, to minimise staff turnover, and maximise career development potential and achieve a high standard of staff performance.
 
 

The Role:
Key responsibilities include:

• To advise on the day to day Human Resources function to include: recruitment, employee welfare, absence management, maternity and paternity procedures and HR administration ensuring compliance with all corporate and hotel policies and procedures and current government regulations.
• Assist Managers with the manning of departments in line with business needs and multi-skilling of staff where appropriate.
• To deal with Employee Relations issues within the properties and advise managers accordingly.
• Support the Hotel management team with HR related issues and coach them to ensure they are following the company procedures.
• Manage and facilitate employee welfare schemes to drive motivation and engagement
• Ensure that all HR administration is up to date e.g. Employee files, Eligibility to work, ADP HR Systems and that this is in line with HR audit and legislation, maintaining complete confidentiality. Our Human Resources Advisor will be:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent
• Have Minimum 2 years HR Management experience with a generalist background
• Experience working within the hospitality or Retail industry (Ideally)
Key skills required as Human Resources Manager:

• Good commercial awareness with a strong drive to deliver results.
• Effective time management.
• Ability to work on own initiative and to tight timescales when necessary.
• Flexibility and responsiveness to work.
• Creative and resourceful.
• Good influencing skills.
• Excellent adaptability to working with different management styles. You'll always be focused on great customer experience and exceptional customer service and you'll have a passion for working within Hospitality and enjoy being an active member of a diverse team.
