Your day to day
At the moment we're looking for a Credit Manager to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team. As a Credit Manager , you will:
-Be responsible for the collection of hotel accounts receivables and the processing/granting/controlling of credit facilities.
-Interact, cooperate with hotel guests on matters of credit and collection of same.
-Cooperate with other sections of accounts and hotel departments as appropriate clerk.
-Recommend the cancellation of credit facilities to hotel users based on payment record.
-Ensure hotel credit policy is adhered to by all concerned.
-Handle investigation requests of hotel guests on matters of invoicing.
-Ensure accounts receivables over 60 days are promptly pursued for collection.
-Recommend improvements to operation as appropriate.
-Prepare, supervise the preparation of monthly statements and reminders.
-Maintain filling system as appropriate to needs of operation.
-Exchange credit information with other IHG hotels and head office.
-Be responsible to make sure posting of C/L is done.
-Ensure all credit cards are renewed on monthly basis.
-Update credit stop list on monthly basis.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

What we need from you
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
-Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar capacity in the hotel industry
-Good in paperwork, writing reports and mathematical skills
-Problem solving and reasoning abilities
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of Opera system or other accounting software
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong leadership capabilities
-Excellent team player
