Your day to day
As our  Assistant Housekeeping Manager,  under the general guidance and supervision of the Executive Housekeeper and within the limits of established policies & procedures, you will supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Room Attendants and outsourced contract cleaners. Your key responsibilities are as below

•Manage day to day staffing requirements, schedule and assign tasks, establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve their performance. Conduct annual performance reviews as per establish schedules and assist with their Personal Development Plan.
•To ensure the team members are properly trained on job requirements, service standards and has the supplies, materials and equipment to carry out their jobs.
•To gain understanding of the Housekeeping operating budget and support to achieve these targets by enforcing cost saving measures where appropriate
•Monitor payroll budget on daily basis by adjusting work schedules according to occupancy and public space activity.
•To schedule and conduct linen and equipment inventories in order to minimize replacements.
•To ensure the Housekeeping team members are following "I-Clean" steps and sequence when serving the guest rooms to provide our guest with well cleaned rooms with professional attention  and personal recognition.
•To conduct routine inspection of guest rooms and public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies while coaching team members on any performance short falls.
•To follow up on VIP arrivals, guest request or guest history according to daily expected arrival list.
•To ensure Housekeeping Master Key procedures, lost and found procedures, Not Serviced Rooms procedures are followed by Housekeeping team members and any security incidents, accidents and near misses are reported timely manner to the attention of the management.
What we need from you
You should possess a friendly & outgoing personality and exude a professional image. You will bring with you professionalism and should have excellent communication skills. You should have Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification. You will need to be flexible with working hours and be a team player. Experience of minimum three or more years as an Assistant Housekeeping manager or similar role is required.
