The Managing Director, LHS sets the overall strategic direction of the company alongside the global leadership team to take the LHS business to the next stage of growth. The position holds full strategic responsibility for the global performance of the Love Home Swap brand. The Managing Director, has P&L responsibility for LHS, managing key direct reports across marketing, product, customer service, customer/user experience, finance and project management. Responsible for LHS's future growth, they will lead by example, providing a values-led vision, connecting with employees while also promoting a culture of ownership and accountability. The role requires very visible leadership, both directly with their own team, but also within the wider group MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Product and Brand Leadership

- Work collaboratively to develop new mobile, social media and social products to attract new customer segments, build communities and ensure consistent cross-channel customer experience;

- Champion the product strategy/roadmap and drive it forward, overseeing the end-to-end product development;

- Create a compelling multi-channel offer in the markets where LHS operates;

- Build strong digital capability and scale (online and mobile);
- Consistently improve customer experience through innovation;
- Generate hype for the brand increasing recogniton and increasing market penetration through strong Public Relations and promotion;
Commercial Leadership

- Review financial models, projections and assumptions, ensuring that clear and challenging targets are put in place for business growth, and that budgets are set in the right way to support delivery of the plans and that commercial targets are met;
- Hold full statutory responsibility for the activities of the legal entity;
- Pursue new commercial partnerships and agreements in conjunction with Business Development, working closely with the RCI Commercial Finance team;
- Ensure close collaboration with the wider RCI Exchanges Leadership team (EME and Globally) and other external stakeholders to maximise joint revenue opportunities across the business;
- Design and optimise operational processes, systems and commercial controls to drive the business forward operationally;
- Identify further opportunities for revenue growth, including potential M&A targets;
Culture and Talent Leadership

- Create an environment which enables colleagues to develop, be creative and deliver exceptional service, driving a high performance culture across the business;
- Drive innovative thinking across the team to ensure current best practice methodologies and technologies are being developed and adopted;

- Previous experience in the leadership team of a start-up including responsibility for P&L. Experience in managing and growing a digital, online subscription or multi-channel business of significant scale
- Strong digital / performance marketing pedigree

- The ability to think commercially and act strategically with a relentless drive to achieve results
