About us
Crowne Plaza Queenstown  is a full service upscale hotel. Comprising of 139 guest rooms, bar, restaurant, 3 function rooms managed by the hotel. The hotel sits in the heart of Queenstown, enjoying panoramic views over The Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand's longest lake. Just across the road is Steamer Wharf where you will find great dining, bars and entertainment.
We are currently looking for an A ssistant Front Office Manager to join our team!

Your day to day
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Assistant Front Office Manager you'll deliver this through managing all aspects of the front office overseeing the reception and concierge teams. You'll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. You'll will work hand in hand with the Rooms Division Manager to provide leadership direction to your team by maximising financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining memorable guest experiences and executing on brand standards. This role also extends to the wider operations of the Hotel to ensure that guest satisfaction is being achieved throughout the Hotel and that host responsibility is being adhered to.

What we need from you

•Ability to train and develop small teams
•Ability to hold authentic conversations with our guests to resolve their issues, queries or concerns
•Three years' leadership experience in a high-level Front Office operation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to have genuine connections with guests and colleagues
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload and conflicting deadlines
•Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication and organisational skills
•Team player with a collaborative approach to work
