Core Functions:
• Provides strategic leadership and direct operations to ensure the housekeeping department achieves its goals and effectively contributes to the guest experience whilst maintaining standards.
• Oversees and directs the Housekeeping department operational activities and responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel.

Duties / Responsibilities
• Ensures a proper inventory of linen, uniforms and all operating equipment in housekeeping is conducted in line with audit standards in order to effectively manage cost.
• Ensures high attention while organizing pest eradication activities.
• Ensures all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly enforced in line with HS&E standards to ensure guests and colleagues’ safety.
• Ensures proper controls of master keys are in place in order to guarantee guests safety.
• Effectively oversees the control of cleaning supplies and guest supplies (receiving, recording, handling and storage) to minimize losses and maximize use of resources.
• Participates in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan to ensure housekeeping operation is adequately represented.
• Liaises with other managers in Rooms Division to monitor service quality, plan unique guest experiences and to discuss operational problems in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Liaises with Technical Services Department to properly monitor that repair works are efficiently delivered in the rooms and public areas to ensure guest satisfaction with the hotel products.
• Recommends modernization of cleaning methods and equipment to ensure quality of cleanliness and increase in performance, to meet guest expectations.
• Provides creative set-up of guest amenities/supplies, flower arrangement to develop and enhance the image and reputation of the hotel.
• Monitors and analyzes room products of competitive hotels (local and international) to bench mark and keep up to date with the latest trends to maintain competitive advantage.
• Welcomes VIP’s upon arrival as appropriate to ensure guests are well received.
• Maintains and controls cost of guest’s supplies, cleaning supplies, man hours in order to achieve monthly forecasted expenses.
• Assists Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.
• Attends and resolves guest complaints (if required).
Minimum Experience
• Minimum of 5 years work experience for a deluxe luxury hotel.
• Experience in managing outsourced labor.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in a high volume housekeeping role.
• Middle East experience.

Salary: AED 5500-6000 + Company Accommodation
