•To Drive and Develop new and existing business from the Corporate Markets in order to maximize revenues and in line with assigned targets.
•To strategically manage and develop targeted Key Accounts for the hotel.
•To liaise with in-house guests to identify new business leads and ensure high repeat guest ratios.
•To work collaboratively with Central Reservation Offices and all Global Sales personnel.

Your day to day
FINANCIAL RETURNS

•The ability to manage and develop existing accounts for the hotel in order to achieve and increase share.
•To drive and win new business for the hotel from assigned industry and geographical target areas.
•To drive and develop Events and Food and Beverage Business in to the hotel.
•To understand the market platform and then evaluate, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall profit targets.
•The ability to research and qualify prospective leads and to sell all hotel products and services.
•The ability to plan, implement and follow up both assisted and individual international Sales Trips.
•The ability to compile a comprehensive Sales Trip report.
•The ability to complete a month end sales report.
•The ability to contact customers in-house to promote good will and to generate additional business, repeat bookings or referrals.
•To research and utilise industry tools to identify opportunities for business growth. PEOPLE

•To provide key interface with Global Account Sales and the IHG Sales Teams.
•The ability to co-ordinate with Department Heads to ensure quality of guest/group satisfaction.
•Participate in relevant industry associations and partnerships.
•To use tools provided to convert business to meet overall budgeted sales and profit targets and contribute to improving the given tools if necessary. GUEST EXPERIENCE

•To conduct an outstanding site inspection, client entertainment and residential FAM trip.
•To provide competitor intelligence/market intelligence and contribute to all sales meetings.
•To ensure that operations are able to effectively handle special requests of guests through clear communication.
•To follow up on any complaints/inquiries/opportunities.
•The ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times. RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

•The ability to respond professionally in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
•Actively promotes and engages in hotel nominated charity activities and local initiates.
