Your day to day
People• Reporting directly to Learning and Development Assistant Manager.• Supervising training officers on day to day operation to achieve required business results.• Providing adequate feedback to departmental trainers and supervisors to develop their training skills to ensure optimal performance achieved.• Maintain an accurate and proper recorded Documents that are related to L&D Operational tasks in coordination with training officer/s.• Supervising and ensuring proper Implementation of IHG on boarding process including follow up on E-learning certificates completion, on the job departmental orientation…etc. to fulfil our IHG Brand Promise "Room to have Great Start".• Create, communicate monthly training plans, calendars based on required L&D topics through Employees Personal Development Plans, then champion regularly follow up process to ensure adequate results are achieved.• Gathering all data and business recaps for monthly, quarterly, and annually communication in cooperation with training officers.• Supervising the proper implementation of English/language classes including analysis when needed.• Design, develop, and deliver high quality staff training programs to hotel employees based on IHG Standards and principles of adult learning.• Maintain an accurate and detailed training records and provide participants with feedback opportunities. Accordingly you will be asked to provide analysis for defining gaps or needed actions to be taken.• Work as a role model to develop and coach L&D officers as needed in the area of career planning, training and development.• Assisting departmental trainers to prepare training and development plans for their departments.• Organizes and conducts employee orientation in line with Brand Standards• Conducts and evaluates off-the-job training as required• Follow-up on all training activities within the hotel to ensure standards are met and completion attained• Assist L&D hotel Champion in the process of selecting departmental trainers and assists in their personal development• Coordinates, evaluates all internal and external cross-exposure training, completed within the hotel and other hotels• Carries out monthly training Trainers Communication meetings and reviews standards, all training issues in coordination with L&D assistant Manager. • Establishes and maintains records of training for all on and off the job training courses and supervise data entry process by training officers.• Prepares monthly training reports as part of the HR Metrics and review it with L&D Assistant Manager to be submitted.• Maintains standards hotel training equipment and training library resources.• Works on defining training incentive programs in coordination with L&D Assistant Manager• Establishes and maintains effective employee relations and inter-departmental relationships with all hotel business partners.Guest Experience• Makes recommendations in developing and implementing various training and development programs to meet identified needs and ensure guest satisfaction.• Monitors present and future trends in the training and development field and makes recommendations to L&D Assistant Manager where ideas should have a direct impact on IHG brand promise "Room to have a Great Start, Room to Grow, Room to be involved and Room for you" and overall internal and external guests experience.• Works along with L&D Assistant Manager on hotel Quality activates and initiatives.Financial Return• Plan along with assistant L&D Manager to consume L&D annual vacation balance.Responsible Business• Coordinates and implements recruitment and learning activities associated but not limited to the IHG Academy to create pool of talents as a part of IHG Responsible Business.
What we need from you
• Minimum 2 years' solid Experience in Hospitality Training, preferrably with IHG operational hospitality background.• Hotel Management bachelor's degree or equivelent Business background• Previous Experience in luxurious Hotels.• Team player with a Strong leadership Skills with A Can Do APTITUDE.• Fluent English LANGUAGE and Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.• Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, business acumen, delivery abilities.• Ability to work with the audience, good communication skills, openness and sociability.• Open to learning and being proactive
