job overviewAn exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to develop and implement online marketing plans related to Social Media and E-Commerce and support the Marketing team in managing the implementation of professional sales-oriented marketing and brand building strategies across all market channels and segments that drive measurable future growth in local and international regions.
Your day to day
Research and Analysis. • Develops and articulates deep insight into the research and booking behavior of key source markets including identifying periods of high destination research, path to purchase, order of purchase.• Develops media advertising contacts in each major market to access marketing opportunities in high traffic websites that appeal to our target market.• Understand and articulates the role that online plays in each source market no matter the final booking channel the customer selects.• Controls, analyses and utilizes our customer database through our systems such as DRM reports, Opera, Delphi, DRM.• Gains a deep understanding of our brand proposition and in-market differentiation.• Has a committed and working relationship with IHG's performance marketing and DRM teams and drives our Best Price Guarantee to our advantage.• Monitors engagement and loyalty from customers in the online space through Medallia Planning and Control. • Assists in the annual budgeting process including influencing an appropriate budget to sustain a heavy promotional mix in the online space.• Leverages existing marketing partnerships such as credit card companies, luxury brands and airlines to further reach in planned resort and regional initiated campaigns.• In conjunction with the selected agency, plans and executes continuous web improvements of our independent websites to improve efficiency, customer experience and dissemination of the resorts competitive advantage, including functionality and search optimization.• Works with on-property marketing teams to develop and acquire media rich marketing assets such as VDO, photographs and stories of interest to disseminate through online channels, principally social media.• Develops timely campaigns to drive revenues in key source markets and integrating sales effort and public relations. Execution. Sell and market across all channels through strategic integrated marketing and branding strategies.Manage all digital creative assets (rich media content, email templates, etc.)• Ensure Content and Images are up to date on Hotel Content Manager (HCM), consistent across all channels and partner websites (e.g. Expedia)• Sell and market across all channels through strategic integrated marketing and branding strategies• Manage all digital creative assets (rich media content, email templates, etc.)• Ensures all marketing executions are executed with the appropriate language for the market.• Ensures all campaigns have a dedicated landing page to ensure the campaign message is consistent and relevant.• Overall responsibility for Social Media (Facebook,TripAdvisor etc) relevant to the hotel's source market• Adjusts in-market campaigns according to take up and resort needs.• Supports regional brand campaigns by integrating them into hotels discretionary marketing spend.Monitors and disseminates campaign results and metrics to help shape future campaigns
What we need from you
Required Skills• Demonstrated expertise of online marketing as well as offline• Creative, innovative, and aware of new technology trends in the travel industry• Engaged in social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, )• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop skills will be a plus• Strong communication skills in English.• Team Player and excellent interpersonal skills• Fundamental skills to project management Qualification Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Experience3 years experiences in Marketing, Distribution marketing, Digital marketing, Brand management, Public Relations, Marketing Communications or Revenue management.Experience in writing and editing content and knowledge of social media, apps, internet communications and web trends. * Advertising Agency, Public Relations, Travel industry system connectivity, Online Travel Agents, Central Reservation Office background or combination of any above are highly desired.
