Principal Manchester are looking for a Sales Manager to join our family
Built as the headquarters for the Refuge Assurance Company in 1895 and extended in 1912, The Principal Manchester has recently completed major renovations, which put The Principal Manchester centre-stage in our "urban lifestyle" hotel brand, including a destination restaurant and bar 'Refuge'.  
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Sales as our Sales Manager you'll develop and set sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored, and sales goals are achieved. You will Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, leisure facilities and food and beverage through direct client contacts.
Our Sales Manager will create and foster an environment that is team-oriented, professional and delivers a service culture within the sales department that will ensure the experience leaves the guests feeling reassured and taken care of.
They will ensure that any guest's requests are dealt with and resolved professionally. All leads are followed up and are completed in a timely manner, delivering True Hospitality to all our guests.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for a self-motivated forward-thinking individual with a strong sales Background as well as proven team management experience within a lifestyle/luxury, environment.
You will have two years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Our ideal candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of guest focus and display that they have a solid awareness of all Hotel Departments and thrive on Delivering True Hospitality for everyone.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and influence across all areas of the business.
