Your day to day
We are currently recruiting for a  Manager, Learning and Development - Australasia at IHG in our Sydney based office. This role reports to the Director, Australasia & Japan and Leadership & Development EMEAA.
You will have direct responsibilities for managing the process for learning and delivering training and development that is offered for both managed and franchised hotels within Australasia. You will ensure this aligns with the learning and development standards and the regional business strategies to accelerate current and future leader's development.
Your day to day
You will partner with key stakeholders to consult on their specific hotel operations and brand L&D requirements and provide solutions that help to deliver overall performance improvement for our hotels.
 Key responsibilities:

•Ensure the implementation of brand initiatives support the delivery of the hotel brand service culture;
•Support the learning requirements associated with new hotel openings, talent and leadership programs
•Ensure the delivery of L&D initiatives match the diverse audiences, brands and delivery methods to create value for hotels, owners and IHG
•Provide partnership and consulting services to the hotel HR Business partners, L&D Leaders and/or General Managers to assist in preparation of learning and development budget and ensure hotel L&D Leaders are delivering on SLA's
What we need from you
The successful candidate will have:-
A passion for facilitating learning experiences; At least 5 years experience in L&D (ideally in a service related industry); The ability to travel both domestically and on occasion internationally.
Strong stakeholder management, including excellent communication, consultation and rapport building skills
that you have a background that has included Hotel Operations along-side L&D
You will also have proven experience of delivering complex projects which would include Learning and training, leadership development and management development within in large multi-national companies.
