Your day to day
Amici is a contemporary twist on a traditional Italian restaurant. Set against beautiful greenery and carefully crafted interiors inspired by the Amalfi Coast. Made from only the finest ingredients using traditional techniques, Amici is a place to fill the senses. Adding a passionate and worldly leader who can bring the flavours, vision and InterContinental Life alive in this exciting new restaurant is the last puzzle piece for the Resort's delivery of rich and personal experiences.
Great restaurant memories come from many places. The sights, sounds, scents and, importantly, the food.  Working within the reimagined Restaurants & Bars on the island, your passion for presentation and dedication to delivering flavour will complete each guest's experience. By taking pride in your work space, keeping your standards high, and giving our menu the benefit of your expertise, you'll create some of our guests' favourite culinary moments. The perfect complement to the unique personalised service provided by our world class front of house team.

What we need from you
So if you're style is warm, inclusive and contemporary and your passionate about exceeding guest's culinary expectations and playing a key role within the Kitchen Brigade - this is your opportunity. To support our Director of Kitchens in bringing it all to life, to inspire our colleagues and train and develop a high performing team.
Our passionate foodies and experienced leaders must have:

•A formal Commercial Cookery Certification 
•A minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or be a talented Chef de Partie ready to take your next step 
•Demonstrated performance in a hotel or resort environment, preferably in a complex property with multiple restaurants, bars and banqueting department
•Strong skill base and experience in a la carte, banqueting and buffet food production 
•Hands On style, who understands and can deliver on the expectations of a modern and contemporary guest experience 
•Possess great attention to detail 
•Demonstrated performance leading a successful team 
•Excellent time management skills 
•Superior communication skills 
•A working knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures, including the training of colleagues in procedures 
•Rostering, ordering & payroll knowledge will be highly regarded
