Your day to day
• You will be responsible for the overall Finance & Business Support of the property.• You will review, analyse and advise management, IHG and owners of the performance of the Hotel and drive superior financial performance and optimize the asset value of the hotel and provide business support to key stakeholders of the businesses.• You will be responsible for maximizing the profitability of the hotel through benchmarking, implementation of best practices and identification of cost reduction & efficiency improvement opportunities. Also ensuring sound controls and accounting standards are in place to safeguard the asset and return to the owners.• You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we're looking for someone who can deliver results for our high performing hotel.• You will inspire others to excel by clearly communicating our business values and direction, recognise good performance and provide managerial support to build organisational capability for the future.
What we need from you
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Accounting and Finance related field.• Have a minimum of 3-4 years' experience working within a finance leadership role within a hotel environment.• Have strong people skills and demonstrated performance leading a successful team.• Also need strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to think strategically.• Have a goal-driven individual with high attention to detail, have the ability to think critically and make effective strategic business decisions.• A proven track record of adhering to budgets.• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
